It's been cooling off the past few days, so it's out with the summer dresses and in with the cardigans and wooly trousers. These trousers are my absolute favourite! They were suppost to be for the shop but as soon as I tired them on I knew we were ment to be. Speaking of the shop I have oh so many new treasures to share. My room is full to the brim of knitts, plaids, denims and suedes. I hope to have it all listed in the next week so i'll keep you guys posted.

ignore anon please, probably one of those people who read the man repeller's blog without the tongue in cheek tone, or think fashion is about rules to make everyone look as "pretty" as possible instead about uhm clothes and having fun with them. So screw you, box-thinking anon!
ReplyDeleteIsla, you look like a dream and I want your outfit.
I'm with Annebeth, ignore that first comment! You look lovely and confident and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love plaid. It's just funny because I couldn't even imagine wearing it in the summer but now I'm just itching to romp around in a good plaid something or other. Can't wait to see the new items in your shop.

I can see where anonymous number one is coming from - those style pants don't suit everybody, and if they are styled poorly than they aren't very flattering - HOWEVER I think you go it spot on here. They are smart casual and suit your figure perfectly - and with the delicate camisole it looks great. Each to their own though hey? :)

ReplyDeleteYou pretty much wear high waisted pants better than anyone I know. I just got a gray wool pendleton pantsuit with very similar trousers; I was imagining when I bought it wearing it in a similar way but somehow I'm just not pulling it off the way you do!
